Lemon Squeze

Lemon Squeeze

Oh, the feel of our youthful squeeze.
My main squeeze held me tight,
In the car;
In the night;
On the beach;
Her hands and lips delight.
Later years a squeeze dared not go soft,
Held tight abed;
Held by child’s hands;
Held by duty;
Squeezed by obligation,
And more the bitter juice
Squeezed, oozing through my pours.
Late, the lemon squeeze
Is such a bitter feel,
And less a pleasure of
Hands on hearts
I’m Squeezed now more the peel.
