China, Iran and other enemies of the US [ even some in the EU] are all looking down a long dark tunnel. They hate the trade war because it takes away all the artificial stimulus they had that helped them build up their economy.
China may now even lose their “Most Favored Nation Status [MFN] the WTO. That would put them on an even playing field with the rest of the world where they will surely lose their footing. It’s like taking away a one leg guy’s crutch.
Before Nixon came along no one trusted China because they are naturally dishonest Even today, their stock market is a joke like a lottery. Their Yuan which they want to make the world currency is weak and uncontrolled. It is not to be trusted, like a guy offering and IOU slip of paper in a high stakes poker game]. Anti-American countries want to see China strong because at 1.9 Trillion they are the closest competitor to the US 2.9 Trillion economy. One difference, with checks balances and a respect for the rule of law and standard business practices the US towers over all world economies.
So, we tried having the Chinese be our slave labor force for 50 years, and found they are still a despicable Centrally controlled Communists Totalitarian State [ Just ask Hong Kong]. We found that they are not as smart and innovative as our MSM tries to portray them. We found they are better at stealing than creating.
Once this is over, their credibility goes back to where it was in 1970, and so will their economy. In the long run, all liberals suffering from TDS [a virus that is worse than the China corona] will be praising their President for saving America and maintaining our position as the most stable and most Prosperous nation in the world.
